Over the years Dad and I have collected military surplus gear for many different reasons. One, we simply like the gear because it's awesome and looks cool. Gotta look cool, right?

It's never too late to learn to shoot a firearm. We decided to head out to one of our favorite spots on our farm and give our Smith & Wesson firearms a day of Remington ammunition snacks.
We packed up our USMC bivy sacks and USMC 3 season bags and hit the trail for an overnight camp on the Roanoke River. We are always trying to see how little gear we need to bring in certain conditions and temperatures. This helps us be better prepared for almost any weather condition.
Fire Force knocked this survival bushcraft tarp out of the park. Oxford nylon construction, a full lifetime warranty, Berry Compliant, waterproof, urethane coating, brass grommets, lightweight and flexible with reinforced edges, MADE IN THE USA and COYOTE BROWN! We are not sure if Fire Force will continue with the Oxford nylon tarp on Amazon or not, currently, the only tarps they are offering are the rip-stop versions.
I have a new EDC pistol, the Smith & Wesson M&P45 Shield M2.0 45 ACP Compact with 6+1 and 7+1 capacity. I purchased the model without thumb safety.
