What a weekend we had kayaking and fishing in the Croatan Sound, Oregon Inlet, and the Atlantic Ocean at Nags Head, NC.
We absolutely love the Outer Banks of North Carolina and we were eager to say the least to get our kayaks in the saltwater. And sailing under Blackbeard's flag? YO HO ME HEARTIES!
After we caught a few speckled trout and flounder, we decided to video a "catch and cook". It was perfect! Location, lighting, PERFECT! Scaled, filleted, breaded, and fried fresh trout hit the spot along with fresh hushpuppies.
In true Roberts family fashion, our fortunes took a turn further south than what we wanted. Dad lost his phone and gimbal to the Atlantic. She claimed her price from him and all that we have left of the weekend is what you see now.
