With the news of cooler weather coming in we decided to hit the trail with our gear for an overnight hammock camping trip.
Dad wanted to test the rating on his MMSS patrol bag to see if he'd be comfortable in the mid-40's temp ranges and I slept with just a poncho liner and military Thermarest inflatable mat. We had a great time, loved the sunrise on the river and welcome the cooler temperatures! As always we slept in out Grand Trunk Skeeter Beater Pro hammocks beneath an Aqua Quest Defender tarp.
