The M1A(TM) SOCOM 16 7.62 was designed in 2004 to pack .30-caliber horsepower into a package typically reserved for much lesser guns. A tritium-enhanced front sight combined with a ghost ring rear moves the gun fast even in dim light. Featuring a custom-designed 16.25" carbon steel barrel tipped with a small but efficient proprietary muzzle brake, the SOCOM 16 combines toughness with maneuverability.The traditional styling of the composite stock on the M1A(TM) SOCOM 16 makes it comfortable, while its advanced materials science makes it impervious to weather and rough handling.The forward scout-style Picatinny rail is designed to accommodate CQB optics.The National Match two-stage trigger on the M1A(TM) SOCOM 16 would be right at home on the line at Camp Perry.
