In response, Buck came out with the shorter-bladed Buck 112 in 1972. For its 50th anniversary, the original model and materials inspire the Ranger Vintage Tribute-a satin-finished 440C steel blade, a black Micarta handle, and squared brass bolsters. The Ranger Vintage Tribute had a short run of only 1,000 knives. This traditional buck would make a great addition to any collection!
