He wanted an extremely stiff knife that would easily out-punched and out-cut any conventional knife but was light enough to be easily concealed if desired. His desire to create a very "functional" and well-armored Tanto inspired us to create a Fixed Blade Knives as faithful and deadly as the Japanese originals. It's crafted from Japanese VG10 San Mai steel and given a non-traditional Japanese styled handle of crimping pads finger choil and a large finger choil.
