The 22in heavy match Douglas barrel is at the core of the Super Match M1A's unparalleled performance. This oversized match barrel is the heaviest possible match-legal barrel that can fit in the M1A, and features a 1: 10in twist that gives optimal performance for the recommended .308 match bullets. The Super Match M1A also features a National Match recoil spring guide and a match-tuned gas cylinder.
