The Geissele Super Duty MOD1 5.56 NATO AR-15 rifle is a reliable carbine designed for serious shooters. This 16-inch platform prioritizes exceptional accuracy, reliability, and user comfort, achieved through a combination of premium Geissele components and innovative design features.
At its core, the Super Duty MOD1 features a cold hammer forged (CHF) barrel with chrome lining, ensuring exceptional accuracy and longevity. A 1-7 twist rate effectively stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO ammunition. Geissele's SSA-E X trigger with Lightning Bow takes center stage, offering a smooth, two-stage pull that enhances both precision shooting and rapid target engagement.

For superior modularity and customization, the Super Duty MOD1 features a 15-inch MK16 Super Modular Rail. This free-float design allows for the secure attachment of lights, lasers, grips, and bipods, tailored to the user's specific needs. The rail itself attaches to the upper receiver via a center alignment tab, eliminating any potential for rotation under heavy use.
Rounding out the package is a selection of user-friendly components. The Super Duty lower is precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and houses Geissele's Ultra Duty Lower Parts Kit, including an ambidextrous safety selector for easy manipulation by either hand. A mil-spec buffer tube with a Super-42 H2 buffer ensures proper cycling and recoil mitigation. The B5 Systems Enhanced Sopmod Stock provides a comfortable and secure grip, while the Airborne Charging Handle delivers smooth and reliable operation.
