We decided to hike on down to the Roanoke River and try baking blueberry muffins in our cooksets over camp fire coals and Esbit fuel tabs.
Dad used his Stansport 5 piece steel mess kit and had great results! He made a baking rack out of a disposable grill topper and made a baking pan out of it too. I used just aluminium foil inside my Stanley. The flame was very hot and my muffin sides burned. I ate all but the the charred parts.
