The highly collectable and memorable Winchester Model 1890 is one of the loved "Gallery Guns". This rifle was manufactured in 1905 and in excellent shape after all the years (likely a closet queen or gun locker king) and privately held dearly by the previous collector. As shown in the photographs, the bluing finish is excellent as is the wood. Some normal wear marks are shown but no rust, no cracked stock, or other serious detrimental issues to reduce collector value. This Model 1890 is a 2nd Model Takedown with blued finish, 24" octagon barrel, clear and defined stamping, unmarred screws, matching serial numbers, great bore, and well functioning collector rifle.
