Each Big Boy Eagle Scout Centennial rifle showcases this historic milestone with etching on the solid top brass receiver as well as the straight grip American walnut stock and forend. The receivers right side is etched with a selectively nickel plated Eagle Scout Award Medal bracketed by Americanstyle scroll pattern and a banner reading TO THIS I PLEDGE MY SACRED HONOR" the closing line of the pledge recited to every Eagle Scout at his Eagle Court of Honor. A black fill is baked into the side of the brass receiver to highlight the design. The left side of the receiver is etched with a selectively nickel plated official BSA Eagle Scout 100th Anniversary commemorative logo. Also etched and blackfilled into the receiver are the American scroll pattern and a banner with the words "BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA." The forearms right features the four designs of Eagle Scout badges in laser scrimshaw style and hand painted in a nickel coloring. The right side of the stock is a laser etched and hand painted rendering of a soaring eagle a Bald Eagle with an enduring gaze and the words "ONCE AN EAGLE ALWAYS AN EAGLE" an iconic expression reminding Eagle Scouts that the spirit of the Eagle Scout Award is one demonstrated with honor and conviction throughout life. This special Henry Big Boy Eagle Scout Centennial Rifle is a symbol of American Pride a reminder of youthful success and a commitment in adulthood to the ideals of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. It has a 20" blued octagon barrel brass buttplate and barrel band as well as a Marbles fully adjustable semibuckhorn rear sight with a reversible white diamond insert and brass beaded front sight."
