They were designed to be a durable lightweight replacement for steel magazines. Noted for their durability by Russian military, these magazines did however compromise the rifles camoflauge and lacked the small horizontol reinforcing ribe down the sides of the magazine body. The magazines are made out of an early polymer AG4 and commonly referred to as bakelite. Cyrillic mold magazines are the last generation of bakelite magazines made and some will have steel reinforced feed lips while others may not. Tula cyrillic magazines have either a flat or ridged back.These are Russian made 7.62x39mm 30 Round Magazines from Red Army Surplus. These Tula ("Star") magazines may have some small markings or scratches on them and mold numbers, but are still in very good condition. This does not affect function. These are high grade Mil-Spec AK47 Mags used by the Russian military. Some have Metal Feedlips - not all (see pictures) cannot be chosen by customer, some have Flat Floorplates -not all (see pictures) cannot be chosen by customer.
