The Strike Eagle 1 -8 First Focal Point Rifle Scope is a low power variable optic (LPVO) capable of engaging targets up close and fast and then also targets that are at farther distances. It fits perfectly on the AR platform and is a great option for those looking for scope that's gonna be used recreationally or in competition use. As the name implies this optic goes from one power on the low end for up close and fast engagements all the way up to 8th power on the high end for those middle long range shots. It is an entirely unique optical system from the rest strike eagle line and it does have a first focal plane reticle. Before we dive on the reticle,The strike eagle 1-8 ffp is a 30 millimeter main tube, capped elevation and windage and on the side we have another illumination intensity settings for low lights scenarios. It also has 2 dedicated night vision settings in this illumination as well. The reticle inside is our EBR-8 reticle in FFP. It's a BDC MOA reticle giving you hold overs from point blank all the way up to 600 yards with most common loads. The reticle features a center floating dot that is .75 MOA, a nice precise point aim to make accurate shots. That center dot is surrounded by a 12 MOA circle which brings your eye into the center aiding in quick target and radical acquisition. As we mentioned before, the center dot and the surrounding open circle around it does illuminate for low light scenarios. With the BDC you see hash marks from the hold over going down the vertical stadia and you can see dots coming out from each hash mark. Those are calibrated to be five mile an hour increments for additional hold overs in windy conditions. One of the other features you'll notice in the reticle is at the top where we are having a ranging feature which you can use to range common size targets all the way at 600 yards. With the EBR- 8 you have a ton of functionality outside of just the center dot. And since it is the FFP reticle, that means the reticle is going to appear to grow and shrink right along with the image as you change manufacation. This means that no matter which manufacation you're on, that reticle is gonna be the proper scale in the image so you can use any of those features.Included in the BoxThrow LeverFlip CapsLens ClothSunshadeCR2032 Battery2mm Hex WrenchFeatures:Illuminated Reticle Provides precise aiming under low-light conditionsFully Multi-Coated Increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces.First Focal Plane Reticle Scale of reticle remains in proportion to the zoomed image.
