The AGM NVG-40 combines a high-quality image intensifier tube with a wide 40 degrees field of view to deliver a highly effective and incredibly versatile night vision system. This unit features a white phosphor Gen 2+ Level 1 image intensifier tube and advanced multi-coated optics to provide the highest image quality, with very few imperfections or blemishes in the white-and-black image. Manual gain control allows you to adjust image brightness in changing light conditions, and the bright light shut-off feature ensures that the high-quality photocathode tube is protected. Operating from a single AA alkaline battery or CR123A battery, the NVG-40 can run up to 20 hours. And with the included accessory bundle, it's incredibly versatile. The NVG interface shoe (installed) is used for mounting the unit to either standard dovetail type headset and helmet. And the included bayonet/horn interface shoe is useful for mounting the NVG-40 to standard bayonet/horn type headset and helmet mount. It's a full-featured unit with a number of uses, and it comes backed by a 3-year limited manufacturer's warranty.
