Ruger SFAR Semi-automatic .308 Win./7.62 NATO 16.1 inch Heavy Barrel 20+1 Rounds

Ruger SFAR .308 Win./7.62 NATO Small-Frame Autoloading Rifle The all-new Ruger SFAR (Small-Frame Autoloading Rifle) delivers .308 Winchester/7.62 NATO firepower in a package that's just about the same size and weight as the average 5.56 AR-15. That means you get the superior ballistic performance of the proven .308 round without the unnecessary weight and bulk of your garden-variety AR-10. But the story doesn't end there. The SFAR's lower receiver is nearly identical to a mil-spec AR-15 lower (aside from the enlarged magazine well), so you can swap in any standard AR-15 trigger group, buffer tube, grip or stock that you could possibly want. Now, as it turns out, the SFAR comes with excellent furniture and a very nice, so you probably won't WANT to swap anything out. But you COULD. On that note, the SFAR comes with Ruger's proven Elite 452 2-stage trigger that breaks at a crisp 4.5 pounds. The Magpul MOE SL stock and MOE grip deliver the same exceptional handling characteristics as they always have, and the 15 inch Lite free-floated M-LOK handguard provides a solid platform for accessories without negatively affecting accuracy. For all intents and purposes, it's a .308 AR-15. At just 37.25 inch long fully extended and only 6.8 pounds overall, it handles just like any other 5.56 carbine-but the performance is on a whole other level. Big game hunting, tactical use, even home defense-the sky's the limit. 16.1 inch heavy-profile barrel with ultra-precise 5R rifling and nitride finish Ruger 2-port Boomer muzzle brake has large perpendicular surfaces to redirect gas and reduce felt recoil 5/8x24 muzzle threads on the barrel remain compatible with other brakes, flash hiders, and suppressors Lower receiver will accept mil-spec AR-15 triggers, buffer tubes, grips and stocks Bolt and barrel extensions are CNC-machined from high-strength super alloy steel that outperforms traditional C158 bolts Bolt carrier assembl
