It accommodates 9mm rounds, and features a number of safety features to ensure it never discharges accidentally. The rebounding hammers have to be pulled back, and the crossbolt safety has to be engaged in order for the Pistol to fire. And like all Bond Arms Derringers, caliber and barrel length swaps are as easy as removing one single swivel screw and installing a new barrel assembly (sold separately). A new generation of affordable Bond Arms Derringers The Bond Arms Roughneck is made from premium stainless steel and is just as reliable as prior Bond Arms Derringers, but doesn't have the same level of fit and finish on non-critical components. By skipping the extensive sanding and hand-polishing, they're able to to offer the same level of reliability for about half the price. You'll see some parting lines in the metal frame and trigger guard, some swirly tool marks on the barrel, even some tiny casting imperfections. But none of that affects performance.
