The Magpul PMAG 30 AR-15/M4 GEN M3 5.56 NATO AR-15 Magazine is a next-generation polymer magazine that provides unmatched durability and reliability. It is compatible with AR-15/M4 weapons chambered in 5.56x45 NATO / .223 Remington and exceeds rigorous military performance specifications. The GEN M3 features enhanced strength, durability, and reliability through the use of new material technology and manufacturing processes.
The PMAG30 modified internal and external geometry that makes it optimized for Colt-spec AR-15 and M4 platforms, as well as other weapon platforms like the HK 416, British SA-80, FN Scar MK 16/16S, among others. It features a four-way anti-tilt follower, constant-curve internal geometry, and a long-lasting USGI-spec stainless steel spring for commonality. The toolless disassembly makes cleaning easy.
NOTE: GEN M3 PMAGs may not be compatible with all billet lowers without slight modification of the magazine overtravel stop.

The PMAG 30 GEN M3 features low-profile ribs, an aggressive front and rear texture, and a paint pen dot matrix to allow easy marking for identification. It has a redesigned bolt catch notch in the rear of the magazine that increases bolt catch clearance and an over-travel stop on the spine to ensure the magazine doesn't over-insert on compatible weapons. Additionally, a flared floorplate with improved drop protection aids in the extraction and handling of the magazine.
