UBERTI 1872 OPEN-TOP CONVERSION (LATE MODEL ARMY)

UBERTI 1872 OPEN-TOP CONVERSION (LATE MODEL ARMY)

The Uberti Open Top revolvers are a faithful reproduction of the original centerfire conversions of the 1851 cap-and-ball revolvers used by the Navy. The pistol features the historic open cut to the rear of the frame made by Colt to install a conversion ring that allowed users to insert metal cartridges, and were some of the first centerfire pistols in history to be produced. The late 1872 models featured a dovetailed frame to permit the fitting of an ejector assembly. This model is chambered in .45 Colt and features a 7.5-inch barrel.
