The 78grain .45 ACP Liberty Ammunition Civil Defense round generates velocities in excess of 1900 FPS with over 600 FPE of kinetic energy. At 25 meters Civil Defense achieves less than 2 inches of dispersion 12 inches of penetration and a wound cavity greater than 5 inches in diameter.
