WINCHESTER MODEL 12-TRAP
Considered by many to have set the standard for pump-action shotguns, the Winchester Model 12 is an iconic American classic that was commonly used by hunters for decades. There are countless outdoorsmen who still use this trusty model, but many have been retired as collectors. The Winchester Model 12 was first introduced in 1912 and saw widespread use by hunters and sportsmen alike for the bulk of the 20th century. This specific version is a Model 12 Trap. Model 12's from this era have the Hangfire Safety System, which requires the pump to be pushed forward when dry firing. This was built into the design so a slow burning shell doesn't ignite outside of a supported chamber. 2 3/4" chamber, fixed full choke, 14.25" LOP.
