Our research indicates a 1966 year of manufacture, putting this rifle's manufacture in the third year of production. Yes, it does have the original walnut stock. The bore, chamber and muzzle crown are all clean and in good condition. The scope is a recently produced Vortex Crossfire II, with small BDC hash marks below the center crosshairs. There are a very few signs the rifle might have been carried in the field, and our gunsmith had to "address" some light surface corrosion on the barrel. The round count is unknown. As for condition issues, there is some loss of finish on the barrel band and trigger housing. Someone also etched his/her driver's license number into the steel butt plate. Please refer to the appropriate photos. Sorry, but we do not have the factory box, paper work, magazine, ammunition, cleaning kit, or any other tools or accessories for the rifle. While the rifle has been cleaned, lubed and inspected by our gunsmith, it has not been test fired.
