We are busy getting our bushcraft base camp ready for the upcoming deer hunting season.

There is always a ton of work to do at our camp. I took a few moments to identify a plant that we have growing around and in our base camp and that is American beautyberry (Callicarpa americana). The berries can be eaten in small amounts and also made into a jelly.
