Join us on our Back to the Basics series on fire building. In our opinion, the most important survival skill you can have is building a fire.
Upon arriving at our riverside location we decided to make blueberry muffins and to cook a Fiesta bean meal that turned out to be quite tasty.
My first try at using a folding wood stove. It's a folding grill designed for backpacking, hiking, day trips, and so on, and I'm quite impressed with it. I did make a few mods that I feel improved the grill.
We picked up a new (to us) Nativity scene. This is the Member's Mark 48 Piece Bethlehem Village and we absolutely love it.
