Poison ivy (Toxicodendron radicans) looks like part of this tree (and many other around this tree).
It is along a trail that we frequent and often we'll see the leaves from this vine ripped, torn and tossed down on the path. That tells us that people are mistaking the leaves hanging overhead as tree leaves and not identifying them as poison ivy. Look closely and remember, if the vine is hairy it's scary!
